In the quaint little town of Tomales, CA...
Join us in the charming town of Tomales, CA, as we celebrate our wedding at the historic Tomales Town Hall. This venue offers a delightful blend of history, charm, and community spirit, making it the perfect spot for our special day.
A Little History & Fun Facts
-
Established in 1874, the Hall was originally built by the Tomales Temperance Social Club.
-
Over the years, it has served as a town hub, hosting dances, meetings, art shows, and countless celebrations.
-
In 1931, a Mission Revival-style facade was added, along with space for a kitchen and a public library in the basement.
-
This is one of California's oldest continuously used public halls, with nearly 150 years of stories and memories woven into its walls.
-
The Buckeye Lot, adjacent to the Hall, is named after a majestic California Buckeye tree, believed to be one of the oldest in the area, providing shade and character to the venue.
We’re thrilled to add our wedding to the incredible history of this beautiful space!
Why Tomales is Special to Us
Tomales holds a special place in our hearts. It’s a regular stop for us on our way to Dillon Beach, where we grab sandwiches, stretch our legs, and soak in the small-town charm.
Dillon Beach is even more meaningful to us because it was our beloved dog Dodger’s favorite place to play. Celebrating here is a way to honor the memories we’ve made and the ones we’ll create with all of you.
